Did a search and couldn't find the info I was looking for.

Does anyone know if there is any size difference in these lights?

Specifically what I am trying to find out is........if I have a holster that will accommodate my Glock 17 with the x200 attached, will it also work for the x300?

I cannot find a holster anywhere that will accommodate the x300, but there are plenty that work for the x200.

While I appreciate the help, please don't respond with "I think it will" or "I'm pretty sure" etc, etc, etc. That won't help me.

I'm in a bit of a time crunch and I need a "yes" or "no".

Thanks guys,

John

X300. Better light output. Longer battery life.
My favorite holster, the modular Safariland ALS will fit a G17 with X300.
Another popular, the Bladetech CQC will fit a G17 with x300.

I can't tell you if your current holster will accommodate a x300 tho.

x200 dimension: 3.47" L X 1.43" W X 1.34"

x300 dimension: 3.53" x 1.43" x 1.39"

Thanks.

I looked on the Safariland website and from what I can see, the only Glock ALS holsters they make that accommodate the x300 are for the Glock 20 & 21.

Also, my original post might have been a bit confusing.....

I don't currently have a holster for the x200 or the x300.

I want to by an x300 but I am trying to find a holster that will accommodate a Glock 17 with the x300 attached.

Thanks,

John

John,

Depending on what type of holster you want and how you intend to wear it, I have a Raven Concealment Systems holster for a Glock 19/Surefire X300, and I love it. It's currently riding on a MOLLE belt, but it also works as a belt holster or an IWB with a quick hardware change.

PS X300 is an outstanding pistol light choice.

For some reasons, Safariland's website do not list all the lights in their product table.

I used an X200 for several years and upgraded to the X300 when it came out. As stated earlier, longer battery life and a wider light output (more of the target is illuminated).
The holsters I used with my X200 both fit the X300, Safariland 6004 and the duty belt version of same.

The X200 and X300 are identical with the exception of the lumens output. I have both lights and they fit in the same holsters.

Sorry for the necro-post...I just saw this thread.

DaedulusX is correct, the X200 and X300 have slightly different dimensions, the X300 being a little larger. (VERY SLIGHT difference, but enough to make some holsters too tight.) MOST holsters built for the X200 will also work with the X300, but some do not. My 6004 built for a 1911 w/ X200 is very snug when used with an X300. The pistol and light will fit, but it is very tight and makes for a tough draw stroke. This is even with the tension screw backed all the way out.

Most of your Kydex jobs will fit both simply because they aren't molded that tightly to the X200 in the first place, giving them a little extra room needed for the X300.

Centurio lights are better than shitfire.

How so?

Do they offer a compact light with an integral rail mount?

Sure do mate, fit to any mount and piccatinny. Lasts longer, uses CREE technology, waterproof, shockproof body and shockproof cell holds the CREE LED, they can also take a bullet and keep working. Here's the link to the Centurio HQ site in Germany www.centurio.biz (http://www.centurio.biz) and they have offices in Australia, Dubai, UK, South Africa and USA.

Seriously when I got the Centurio ones, I gave the surefires to the kids.

Maybe I'm blind but I didn't find anything close to a X300 on that site.

NERO SOL mate, he doesn't have a pic up yet because it's new but I trialled one, it has a strobe option as well for distraction.
