Funny....I had a heart to heart talk with a girlfriend of mine (more like a mother figure actually; she is 64) a few days ago and we discussed this very issue. Her husband is 72 and has frequent frisky tendencies. Problem is that the thing shrunk, it doesn't last long enough and he's too out of breath too quickly to make it worth her time. He's got a heart condition and COPD so he can't take viagra. Nevertheless, he can't figure out why she's so ambivalent. She's afraid if she told him the truth it would crush him...Ironic and sad really.

Another inequitability of human physiology is that the "biological clock" thing is a female problem. For the 40+ male having kids, the solution is really quite simple: just marry someone younger. Women OTOH can simply find themselves out of luck if they have to wait.

I've lived with out one of ya' for 41 years. I don't know if that makes me stubborn or the original misogynist. Either way, the seat stays where I last put it, and I like it that way.

Meh. As any man who has been married knows, men are hornier than women. "Old" age doesn't have much to do with it.

However, since the discussion is one of age and the sexes, it can be remembered that;

As men become older, we become more interesting.

As women become older, they become older....
