Our shop lets them go right at 749.99, that is for the Rem700PSP, most recent l/e version.... I have gotten quotes from some shops selling them for over 800 bucks.

I have got a REM700PSS on the way, it has a 26" barrel 3 pound trigger pull, MWG one piece scope base and 3 detachable mags. I bought it for $700 from a friend comes with a hard casde also.

Both my Observer and I use The 700P. Good guns for the money. However, our Dept. is looking at picking up a couple of H-S Precison rifles. Has anyone heard anything good, bad, ugly about these guns? Prices are around $2000- each, which is somewhat cheaper than comparable models I've looked into. Any input would be appreciated...

The Remmington model PSS is a very good rifle. It can keep a 3/4" to 1" groups at 100 yards straight out of the box. You will be happy with it.
