View Full Version : Clash of the Titans....
In the words of my daughter; "It wasn't too bad for being rushed."
The original movie was a better script, this -- of course -- was better effects.
But if you go looking at the movie as a cool platform for special effects, with not a whole lot of adult acting, I think it does it's job.
So in short, while I have a hard time telling anyone to "go see the movie", I have nothing that I could say against seeing it....

Do you recommend seeing it in 3-D vice regular?
I had read one review, the guy may have just been a pompous ass like most critics, saying that it wasn't worth seeing it in 3-D and that regular film might make the experience more enjoyable.
What say you?

What say you?Hmmm, I don't know that 3D would make the movie any cooler to watch, but I do think it is cool to get as wide a screen as possible -- not one of the small screens the theaters shove chick flicks onto.
3D might actually be better, but I don't think I could convince myself to pay the extra cost, now that I've seen the movie....

Ok movie. I went because I am a fan of Greek Mythology.
Things were changed from the 1981 movie, whick I liked much more.
I did not see it in 3-D.
The original is still awesome to watch, even today! The creativity and skill used in that movie has rarely been matched.

...
I just got back from seeing it in 3-D. It was pretty decent. A good movie overall. The special effects are pretty darn good. They changed the story around a little.
But, I liked the original much better.

Harry Hamlin was the heat. I mean seriously, it just doesn't get any burlier than that guy.

My son saw the trailer, and how he runs around saying "Send in the cracker!".

Pretty good. ALMOST got a bit too long right after the Medusa scene in my opinion. I was thinking "When the FUCK is he going to fight the cracker already?! I will forever reference it as the "cracker" because of the above post, haha.
I saw it in 3-D and it seems as if the 3-D-ness wasn't as good as "Alice in Wonderland". I don't know if it was just my eyes but sometimes it seemed like things just looked weird for some reason. Shit just gave me a headache and nothing was too awe-inspiring.
I'd recommend it. Maybe not in 3-D though.

Oh, I just realized this.
Why is there no movie thread in the main forums?
Seems like there should be a thread specifically for movie reviews, such as the books thread.
