WEAVER SCOPES

What do you guys think of Weaver brand scopes. I have a Weaver Classic 2-10x50 on my Rem700P. Should I change it.

I posted this once before somewhere: A good rule of thumb is to spend at least as much on your optics as you do on the rifle!

So the price of the optics says a lot about the quality of the optics. A $300 scope basically is not worth the glass its made out of.

I'll just say that it's better to save up for a good scope than it is to spend $300.00 on a mediocre one. A good Leupold will last a lifetime and you'll never be sorry. Plus, if you decide that you want something else, a quality scope can be sold with no problem and has some resale value. Try resaling a Weaver sometime.
