The FBP is opening a brand new Fed Prison in Mendota CA and hiring for every job related to the running of the prison. Although you would not want to live in Mendota by ANY means (Please take my word on that) its about a 30 min drive from Fresno or Clovis.

Mendota??? What a dump. I can't believe BOP couldn't find a better place for a new prison. The San Joaquin Valley is has become the new Australian Outback of correctional institutions.

As far as the location....its perfect though. Airport nearby, flat farming land for as far as the eye can see. Right next to the highway. What I cant wait for is when all the families of the inmates move to Mendota. You think its a crime ridden hole now. Just wait 2 more years! However, as a place to work, probably not to bad. Sad though that the only industry we can seem to being to CA is more government jobs.
