I just bought the Stew Smith's SEAL Fitness book and was looking for a place to workout with a pool, and a track or anything acceptable that I can use along with this book. I live in southern Orange County near Mission Viejo. Any Suggestions?
Thanks.
I used to live in Laguna Niguel, went to Saddleback before transferring. For a pool I always used my neighborhood's community center. At Soka University, in Aliso Viejo, they have a track that is open to the public. Great location to run (canyon views) and everytime I went I was either the only one on the track, or among 2 or 3 others. If you're not a member of a gym I'd recommend purchasing a power tower. http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&rlz=1T4GGLL_enUS313US317&q=power+tower&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=9343127907442806453&ei=BFzaS9PuK5KCsgOa_5WoAQ&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=image&resnum=4&ved=0CCsQ8gIwAw#
--I'm not sure of any places with a pool, track, and pt area all in one. A great place to go for a run and throw in some pt though is the Laguna Niguel park, around the lake. They have PT sections set up throughout the park. I'm not far from there and go visit home every now and then, so I'd be down to hit up a PT/park run sometime. I have a pretty decent route and pt I take that I usually do when I'm home.
