Ghillie mantanice

I have had Made a Ghillie out of burlap and have had it for quite some time. And today i was thinking "How in the hell do i wash My ghillie?" So i thought, who better to ask than the experts on this forum. So please give me tips on washing, storing,upkeep ect on my ghillie.

I'd say don't wash it. Dirt is natural, so it will look natural. If you have to clean it, hose it off and let it air dry. I store one in a duffle bag, one small one in my ass pack, and one in one of those NBC suit bags; just to keep the dirt and dust down.

I don't think you should wash it either. If your having trouble with BO smell maybe try some spot washing or spray some "Freebrezze"
on those areas. The first two piece suit I made was in 1996 and I still hav'nt tried cleaning it, but I have given it plenty of air out time.

Wait for it to start raining then hang it outside, itll wash itself.

Just make sure that its totally dry befo you put it away again, otherwise you could have problems.

I just take mine to the carwash and hang it up on the thing where you hang floormats and hose it off. Then I let it air dry and then, back into the kit bag. But, then again, thats just me.
