Whats the story?

I know that Ghille suites aren't issued to snipers and are required to aquire their own, but do most sniper build their own or spend the redictulous amount of money paying for one?

Each Marine Scout/Sniper takes much pride in making their own Ghillie suit. I know of none whom have bought one.

The Ghillie suit is personnal thing. You learn to appreciate it, and you recognize it by smell.

you build your own...it might be the hard, time consuming and messy way to do it, but I would hate to be the only guy standing there with a "store bought" suit amongst those who took the time and pride to do it themselves. Besides, I think part of the patience involved in designing and building one is all part of your training...

I prefer my suit over a store bought any day. I dont think these expensive store boughts could adapt as easily to the different environments as home-mades can, but thats just my personal opinion from what I've seen of the store boughts.....
