Western Rail-Trail terminus, south-central Michigan. Come across male & female looking at her bike, offered up tools from my kit, if required. Male wearing USMC cap, USMC T-Shirt, nuthin' USMC about ear-ring stud, left ear.
"Marine, eh?" "3d Recon, 1982-86, Beirut, right after the bombing." "Hmmmn, was in Beirut for a while, in 1985." He didn't seem interested in continuing exchange at that point. Believe that female was "probably" his daughter, so I was not intent on continuing either.
