I was flipping back and forth past an episode of Intervention and realized the pictures they were showing were of a Recon Guy. So I caught a few minutes before I had to head out. Dude's name is Adam. I'm assuming he was in a Force Recon Co. as he supposedly got sent TAD to guard some GO. No more info than that.

I saw a bit of this and was curious about the same thing.
They show some photos of him with the scuba bubble and gold wings, also mentioned that he was stationed in Okinawa (3rd Recon?).

If true, his age would make him a peer of some of the board members.
Anyone?
Talking to some of the newer board members, getting dual-cool in your first tour any longer seems like it is not that usual. Shouldn't be difficult to track him down to which unit he was, no?
The father is supposedly posting on THIS FORUM (http://community.aetv.com/service/displayDiscussionThreads.kickAction?as=119137&w=267410&d=563784&d-1169404-p=3) under the name "Kelly and Darcy", we could ask him for details if there is a way to do a PM (I'm kinda rushed and wasn't able to look any farther at their board)....

I got to 3rd Recon in late 2003 and I remember Adam. We served very briefly in the same platoon under Big Daddy in early 2004. In 2004, 3rd was sending guys TAD to Afghanistan and Iraq, Adam included. The Adam shown on the A&E clips was not the same Adam I remember at 3rd. From what I knew of him, he seemed pretty grounded and was not the type to be a victim for attention. He obviously is a Recon brother in serious need of help.

I'm glad you put it like that. We had a guy come from 3rd with some marriage problems that quickly landed him the Brig due to his handling of it.
After a few days someone from another plt that knew him said hey, "You guys got a Marine in the Brig, who's been down there to see how he's doing".
You can't forget those lessons.
Qmoney,
Please make a post in the intro thread.
