Hmm.. he seems no worse than Alvin Greene.
Is this a poser check?
Because if he was a FR Marine (or BN Marine, or "plain" Marine -- his words), then that really doesn't have any bearing on the Corps, except for his not being able to spell "Corps".
Maybe he had RAT proof his website....

Where's his interpreter ?
He is a sad case, and the Nashville television stations, in an effort to give him "equal time" has obviously made fun of the poor man.
He believes a whole list of conspiracy/patriot/freemen doctrine:
- You don't need driver's licenses to drive on the highway.
- Putting a gold fringe on the American flag means you are under occupation (or under Admiralty law, take your pick).
- No laws passed in Tennessee since 1866 are valid (that's the date of the invasion of Tennessee in the Great War of Northern Aggression, aka the Civil War).
etc.

Anyone know if this guy did a tour over in Vietnam, if so, he smoked way to much of the local stuff, in any case, hell, he might do a good job can't be any worse than who we have in DC now.
I say again, he is a sad man.
No, I did not vote for him in the Republican Primary last week (early voting).
http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/2010/aug/04/marceaux-has-lengthy-criminal-court-appearance-rec/
Basil Marceaux Sr., the Chattanooga Republican candidate for governor whose unconventional political views have attracted national attention, has been in and out of Hamilton County Criminal Court since 1993, county records show.
Many of the 19 cases involved misdemeanor traffic infractions. Marceaux, 57, was found not guilty by reason of insanity on July 25, 2005, in seven cases involving mostly traffic offenses ranging from driving an unregistered vehicle to failing to have insurance, according to court records.

I don't know if there is a link or a tube vid of it somewhere but, last night on "Full Retard" Colbert on Comedy Central. There was a re-run of Colbert, where he did a piece on him. Colbert was asking Democrats to go out and vote for him in the Repub primary. No doubt so in the general the Dem. will win.

I don't know weather to feel bad that they are making fun of this guy, or just irritated that left-wingers think that it could possibly work to get thier guy elected.
