Can anyone here suggest some brick-and-mortar tactical outfitters in the L.A. area?

I'll be between Thousand Oaks and San Fernando for a short stretch so, a heads-up on any stores on that end would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for that DDSSDV -- I appreciate your prompt reply. "Quartermaster" looks like a great option.

Just north of the T.O in Ventura is Battlefield Adventures. We used to go there for the stuff the AKs and PRs would not/could not order for us.;)

Force Tactical in Simi Valley is good to go, they stock Eagle, Blackhawk and some other companies.

I'd like to extend a thanks to all those that chimed in.
I ended up checking out Force Tactical (http://storefront.forcetactical.com/), as it was the most conveniently located choice for me. Cool showroom -- nice selection -- lots of BLACKHAWK! Gear, if that's what you're looking for. If you're in the area, worth a look for sure.
Note that they're preparing to move to a larger venue (watch their website for the new address).

Thank Again,
- Bernd

I can recall coming close to purchasing from BOTACH online on a few occasions. Your post sparked me to Google search "BOTACH". To my surprise, the third return was for this consumer sounding board:

Anyone here had issues with this outfit?

They have has some issues in the past- most of the complaints were internet order problems. I know that I had one issue myself when I was in Iraq, but they made it right. If you are purchasing from them direct (store front) you should be GTG.
