Any suggestions for "A" school...if looking at EOD

Good question! Your "A" school is an important choice to start your career.
Even though EOD techs (and SEALs for that matter) are considered a specialty in the Navy, you will test for advancement on your rating. Some rates (usually the larger ones) have better advancement because of higher demand. Some suggestions:
GM, HM-if it's now open to EOD I believe it is,& MN. I make these suggestions weighing two factors.
1. Decent advancement.
2. If you don't make it through the school (and like 60-70% who start at dive school don't finish at Eglin!) you won't be stuck doing too shitty of a job for the remander of the 4 years you owe Uncle Sam.
Another factor, if you get a school strong in electronics (usually longer) it will help qualify you for the secret service later on.
Depending on your recruiter he may lay the B.S. on heavy so feel free to check facts here. I'll try to add a link in a sec. to help you get some more gouge.
