I'm Navy enlisted so not the best source of info...But, I would do a web search for "Army EOD" and see what comes up. If you can't get what you want I'll ask some of the Army O's that I work with were to find info.

Well Sir, first you have to attend Ordnance officer OBC, and as I understand it, you then compete with others of your class for the EOD slots. If there are 3 CO or XO slots, then the top three of your class would attend. If you have not already been ear-marked for branch selection, then I suggest you call DA Ordnance branch manager and ask them what is involved in the whole process. If it isn't too much to ask, if you do make it...don't be an ass when you finally get a Company...if you want that, join the Navy and be an 1140...teeheehee.

Or go to OBC, get to your first Duty Station, hook up with the EOD guys on post. Express your interest, and they will know people that can pull the right strings to possibly get you a school slot. Call your branch manager, and they should be able to work it for you on that end.
A buddy of mine is doing that now, and so far it is working for him.
Also, he said you can go from CLOAC to EOD as a follow on.
Call branch, they can help you..
