Personal protection classes for women in the DFW area?

All,

My wife's 40th birthday is this week and I was looking for a top notch self defense class in the DFW area for her as a birthday present?

Does anyone have any knowledge about such classes in this area?

Was also thinking about a class to acquire a concealed hand gun license?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

For the CHL, I'd highly recommend TJ Pillling at Tiger Valley, www.tigervalley.com. He teaches at his facility in Waco, as well as the Elm Fork range in Dallas.

The Wife and I used the Bullet Trap in Plano for our CHL class. Fairly painless and reasonable. Huge selection of try before you buy handguns.
