Marine EOD

Is there a formal selection for the Marine EOD? Any answers are appreciated. Thanks.

Do you mean formal acceptance to enter training? I know that to be Marine EOD you need to be an E5 and volunteer for the training. They usually are then sent to an operational EOD unit for a few months for some OJT (actually more like a screening process). If they think you got what it takes then they'll send you to EOD school for you to prove it.

I can tell you this. At Niland those poor bastard are in the 120 heat and bored too death. Navy EOD atleast you get water time. Think about it.
