Not sure if this has been debated here I couldn't find it anywhere. I'm interested to hear what you all have to say about these two. Both seem quite effective to me.

This subject was discussed back in '06, with the same photos as the ATACS pattern was one of the provisional choices to replace the ACU. It may have been stashed someplace with a server clean-up or something once Multicam was chosen.
It doesn't matter what anyone thinks - the civilians on the uniform board at DoD is going to buy what they want, not what we need.
If you are asking regarding hunting some furry thing with 4 legs and horns...I don't think he really cares which of these two you want to spend your money on.

Gee, just in time for Xmas. Now all the people who bought the latest digital this, or coyote that can barrage the cool-guy manufacturers with questions as to when the next radio pouch or lo-pro (LOL) chest rig comes out in this newest camo scheme.
Oh, and let's not forget the onslaught of the newest gun paint jobs....

figures... As far as hunting the fury animals (which being born and raised where I live has been my passion since a wee one) I just wear the old man's hand me down woolrich bibs and shirt. Just plain old grey comfort. I find it funny when I cross paths with people here in Alaska that have on every type of mossy oak, or what ever else they decide is the most exspensive trend to follow. I still have yet to see oak and cypress trees here. But, "I can see Russia from my house".

Another cammie pattern. Yawn.
Camouflage and colored fabric is great -- but it won't make Soldiers invisible.
