For anyone in the medical field, or anyone that's interested.
During the recent weeks there have been many questions regarding diseases
that have been proven false. The Center for Disease Control has a website http://www.cdc.gov/hoax_rumors.htm, devoted to discounting hoaxs and rumors.
This is a government site that contains the CDC's response to questions, etc
regarding the latest "threats"; this site is useful for providing patient
education and to help reduce anxiety about the spread of disease.
