Can you do a check on two former Navy SEALS for me. The first is Harry T. Jenrette. He would have been a SEAL back in the Vietnam era. The other is Alan Lerchbacker. He would have left the teams not to long ago.

No on Jenrette, I tried every variation of the spelling I could think of. No on Lerchbacker, I know an Alan Lerchbacker who was a CAPT and a Navy deep sea diver - could this be your man? Why do you think he is a SEAL?

It is a long story, but I thank you for your help. I used to know Lerchbaker.

While we're at it, could someone check out the name Tommy Shropshire? Positive on the spelling. Claims to be a recon Marine gone BUD/S. Much of his shit stinks, but would like to know for sure before I punch him in the nose.

Hoo-ah.

Alan Lerchbacker was a Professor of mine in graduate school. I always thought his SEAL stories were a bit far-fetched; especially with my background. Anyway, he was an excellent lecturer, and one of my most inspirational Professors. I hope his story about being the lead diver on the Challenger investigation is true!

Chez was one of the divers on the challenger and then went through BUDS and became a SEAL.. He had a party at his house one night and I saw some really good pictures of the salvage effort..
