RELAY FROM BRENT McCULLOUGH:

"I am writing to let our friends know that on Christmas Eve Bob Burroughs passed peacefully in the evening at about 8:22 with Karen, all three of his children and family by his side. The family has been with him around the clock the last several days as we all knew his time was short.
Funeral arrangements will be delayed some by the holiday but we are thinking Wed or Thursday. Our hearts are very heavy but we know he is at peace and that is a comfort. His pain is gone and the family is relieved."

RIP Bob.

Quick story - Bob in Mog in 93. He was tired of the food we (TFR) were eating. So, he grabbed a bag of cash, went out to the ramp and essentially forced a Navy P-3 crew to take him to Mombassa with them. He came back two days later on a different aircraft with a pallet of food - to include steaks and veggies...

Bob NEVER let amything stand between him and taking care of his men.

Bob Burroughs' visitation and funeral information is as follows:

Bob's viewing will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home on Memorial Parkway in Huntsville, AL on Wednesday December 29th from 6:00 - 8:00pm.

Bob's funeral will be held at Crosspoint Church on Hughes Road in Madison, AL (across from Bob Jones High School) on Thursday December 30th at 1:00pm.

REST IN PEACE NIGHT STALKER,
I'm sure you will prep the DZ for us to follow..
