Cache of explosives in home of ex-SEAL
A 39-year old Kent Island men was charged with storing military explosives in his home. Eugenio Augusto Giolitti will be charged with possession of explosives without license when he is released from a mental hospital, according to the state's fire marshal's office. Fire marshal's spokeman Alan Gosnell said investigators and agents from the ATF found C-4 explosives, detonating cord, Claymore's anti-presonnel mines, blasting caps, hand grenade components and aerial flares in the home. Mr. Giolitti is a former Navy SEAL and an explosives expert. Mr. Gosnell said. He faces up to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted.
