Tagalog or Ilocano Language CDs?

Anyone have Tagalog or Ilocano language CDs to give me a copy? I speak both but need to work on the art of the languages and proper sentence structure. Evidently F between every 3-4 words is not acceptable in the big city. LOL

LOL. Just pronounce it with a "P" and you'll fit right in. IE: Pock Yoo!

Serious question, why either or?? Ilocano and Tagalog are very different, similar to Boston "English" and Alabama "Redneck". 'The two utes!

Do you have base access? Most MWR activities have libraries with free language CDs/DVDs and facilities to use them. Not sure what the Jacksonville Naval Complex has aboard, but might be worth a check if you have no other options.

Here is a question, why learn Tagalog? I mean pretty much every Filipino I have met, in the PI or abroad, speaks English.

Just as a way to relate more to their culture or build rapport?

My cousin was a Mormon missionary to the PI several years ago and went to Tagalog language school prior to going there - but said most all conversations were in English. He just got some bonus points, win their hearts and minds so to speak, when used some Tagalog in greetings or small talk.

Let me know if you have any questions about grammar or sentence structure; I am filipino, born in Manila.
