Still another RIP - Carey Lassiter 2/75
Dudes,
I suck at anything with a keyboard and can't get the article posted here. Am very sorry to say that another of our own has taken his own life, former A2/75, Carey Lassiter. I remember him on the quad and other AO's. He was a stud by any man's estimation. CSM Jeff Mellinger posted it on a few websites. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends. |
Damn, I did not know him but I did a quick search and found this link:

Knew Carey well, he was a stud and a good friend to some of here on the site. Sad news!
Rest In Peace... |
RIP.

Sorry to learn of this loss. Prayers out to his family and friends.
Drive on, Rangers, we will meet at the rally point........ |
Carey was in 1st Plt, A Co when I got there in '77.
Gung ho to the core. After he left the Battalion, we ran into him in Florida on an EDRE. I remember that an SF Team set up a Fulton Recovery System to extract the "stuff" that we had recovered during our part of the mission. Carey was on the SF Team. He was one of the good ones! RIP Carey. |
RIP, Ranger.

RIP. Getting tired of reading about this.
People, if you need help, reach out! There are always alternatives and solutions, no matter how bad things may seem. |
RIP and saying prayers....
|
Rest peacefully, Ranger.
