Vetting Process for Rangers

Welcome the 75th Ranger Regiment section of SOCnet. This section is where any posts belong that are related to the Army's 75th Ranger Regiment, and for old-timers the Ranger Battalions and Ranger Companies.

Note that this isn't military dot com, and presenting yourself as being a Ranger untruthfully (posing) is an activity that is not tolerated. Standards here, as they were in Regiment, are kept high for a reason: this is the premier website in the world relating to US SOF activities, and we have one of the highest concentrations of Vetted SOF veterans anywhere. With that depth of field in our ranks, SOCnet is able to speak authoritatively on any topic relating to SOF activities. Accordingly, all new personnel on these boards will have their claimed Ranger status vetted, meaning you tell us who you are and where you've been, and the Moderators and Administrators will determine the truthfulness of your claim. This isn't personal - it is a routine function that ALL new members undergo. If you are a Ranger, you'll appreciate and support the need for the verification of status.

So - please send a PM to one of the 75th Ranger Regiment section's moderators:
Wearman, EarthPig, B 2/75, rgrjoe175

That PM should clearly state your full name, dates of service, units to which you were assigned, and for Ranger service include details to allow us to validate your claim, such as who was in your chain of command, who where the NCO's in your platoon and company, deployments you went on (when / where / notable events while deployed), Ranger School class number, and any other information you believe will assist us in validating your status as a Ranger.
