I tend to agree that this is purely a novelty thing- I'm torn between thinking it's the most ridiculous thing that I have ever seen and thinking that it would be kind of cool to run a few magazines through it.

Pretty dumb. Especially with dual triggers. I'd be better off with a timely mag change. Hell, you'd be safer I'll bet with a real .45 sporting a damn C Mag, if there's such a thing.

That will be one of those novelty items that someone buys for the sake of saying they have one.
It's much like my brother-in-law when he purchased a S&W 500. I asked him what he was going to do with that and he said, "Nothing, but it's sure nice to look at" as he put it back under his car seat.

A gun for the spray and pray crowd. Too bulky, too expensive, too much.
A quick double tap from someone who knows what they're doing with a standard .45 can achieve the same stopping power. It's not the quantity of lead downrange as much as it is the quality of the shooter. That makes this just a gimmick gun. Great for the table in the man cave to show off but not much else as far as utility goes.
