Incompetence .... especially when it outranks me.

My country's firearm laws.

The fact that a brand new F-truck costs roughly $100k more here than in the US.

A LE organisation that thinks safety management is more important than chasing bad guys.

Angry

Honda Civics who tailgate my monster truck to the point I can't see their fuckn headlights.

I usually downshift the automatic so that they don't see my brake lights and almost kiss my bumper. Get a clue, the law of tonnage exists for a reason.

Waiting 5 minutes at a stop sign because the person in front of me won't take a 30 second window for turning (there were at least 8 opportunities). Motherf***er made me late for work.

Spandex long-sleeved tee shirts that give the appearance the wearer has a sleeve of tattoos.

Dude, I swear to god, anytime I am about to enter an environment of prolonged silence, it somehow finds it ways into my damn ear holes.

Where it rots, for hours. I hate it. It makes my whole body upset.

I keep getting the morbid temptation to youtube that song, just to see what it is...but I'm quite certain I've never heard it, and from your reactions, I think I'd like to keep it that way...

It's the damn music version of "The Ring", it just keeps following you. But it's worse, because it doesn't kill you, it just makes you wish you were dead.

Ok, BOFH think of every really shitty Vegas lounge tune or crappy tv show theme song that has ever forced it's way into your mind via ear rape. Now multiply that by Avogadro's number and then divide the whole thing by 0.

That's "Party Rock", the destroyer of worlds.

Made up words that I Google and can't find a definition for, i.e., panconsult, other than about a thousand different consulting firms around the world.

Hospitalist= Dr of Internal Medicine who works strictly in a hospital setting. Basically doc's who are on call for the various floors in a hospital except for OR and ER.
Panconsult= I haven't heard this one before but I have to assume what was meant would be the hospitalist in question decided to page or set up consulations with a variety of specialist doctors (cardio/neuro/etc) instead of taking some time to think about symptoms, test results, and medical history and come up with a solid idea for a diagnosis. It's like when I see an ER doc order every test we do in our lab, I call it the WTF panel.

Jtk317 answered it. Basically their plan to work up their patient is to consult everybody under the sun and then sit back and let everybody else do the heavy lifting.

I apologize for the jargon.

I've seen this occur many times myself. Seems to me that the newer doctors (those from about 35yo or so and younger) have come out of med school with the idea that throwing tons of resources at the patient is the best way to find an answer. In reality you get 4 separate diagnoses which are of course related but have varying treatments. I think they get it drilled into their heads so much that they have to cover their asses that they're trying to spread blame for anything over the whole organization they work for.

And the GSA City Pair program that forces me to use that POS airline.
