ECM's affect on the body

Curious if anyone had any insight as to studies that have been done, if at all, on the affects of Electronic Counter Measures on the body.

Myself, I was in the turret most of my first deployment and we had the Chameleon and Hunter on the trucks.

Patrol wise we used the smaller man portable devices that would molle onto the back of your flak with an antenna.

Good question. In 2008 I had two platoons from the 101st chopped to me to support a long term operation. Two of their MRAPs were selected to test a new ECM device called Jukebox that was being looked at to replace the Warlock(?). Every time they turned that thing on, within 20 minutes everyone in the vehicle was getting nauseous and several times dudes were vomiting. On day 2 I went to the BC and told him what was going on and he had them removed from the vehicles. I never rode in either of those two vehicles, so never experienced it. The only reason they lasted as long as they did was that nobody at first figured out the linkage between the new ECM and people getting sick.
