Going to have to rethink what my mission is. Its HD/SD, not Operator.
Buying good quality is different than buying shit for the sake of having it. I have never owned a Sig rifle, but they report out as being good quality, same with the ACOG. Zero it with irons and then the optic and the next $ should be spent on a class. Pat McNamara Carbine TAPS is a good place to start.

I have been buying some "bargain" parts to build a variety of pistols and economical rifles, but it seems they either works (Like my Frankenx39 or my AR pistol in 5.56) or they don't (2-3 others I am wrestling with now). If you buy the best, you'll always be happy. Best != (Not Equal to) Most Expensive.

No worries, I have the boxed set and can watch it anytime I want. Glad that show is off the air. Was tired of all the goofy questions about what we do. Never watched the show either.

It was good entertainment, although pretty unrealistic. Now everybody thinks you guys can shoot 3-4 people a week and still have a job.

I practice buy once cry once. If one takes care of their gear it should last them a lifetime. Never understood the whole get new gear after shot show? If you have kit that works run it until it breaks. Guess it's like the odd cartridge.

Buy once, cry once is sound advice. Be honest, ammunition is eventually going to surpass the cost of the rifle..

I joke that I should have my ammo in the safe and the guns in the garage, but it's not really that funny. I can replace the guns cheaper than the ammo.
