VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION Facility Leaders’ Oversight and Quality Management Processes at the Gulf Coast VA Health Care System. After reading it, it scared the hell out of me.

About the Facility The facility, along with its associated community based outpatient clinics, served 71,013 veterans in fiscal year (FY) 2018 and operated 245 beds, including 72 inpatient beds, 72 domiciliary beds, and 101 community living center beds.22 It has a Facility Complexity Model Level designation of 1c and provides primary care, medicine, surgery, psychiatry, psychology, neurology, oncology, dentistry, geriatrics, extended care, and physical medicine and rehabilitation services.

The facility has affiliations with Keesler Air Force Base, Louisiana State University, Tulane University, and the University of South Alabama.
