I just received an e-mail from my 1st selectmen in the town I live. Without having a local PD she (yup, she) is the top LEO. Or at least the one whom I had to send a copy of my FFL paperwork to. It was a pleasant e-mail and she would like to have a meeting with me to "get acquainted". She mentioned her assistant was Cc'd also and would join us. I have never met the 1st selectmen but I have met her assistant. And yes, she's hot. Very cute and pretty cool. My understanding is she is very pro 2 A. Wish me luck.

Just a quick update. Meeting with 1st selectmen went great. No issues at all. She welcomes my weapons manufacturing to the community. As I heard, she is very much pro 2A and said to come to her if anything is needed. All paperwork has been filed. Oh yeah. It's an election year. I put up 5 signs for her along my property line on the road.

So in case anyone was keeping track ---- The Sportsmen's Heritage And Recreational Enhancement Act, or SHARE act (an omnibus bill which includes the Hearing Protection Act) just passed committee. This would effectively remove Silencers from the NFA and treat them like regular firearms (80% silencers when?). One step closer to fully removing them from any regulation whatsoever.

And, as usual, the libshit gun control pieces of filth are there to try and stop it. Treehuggers and libshit LEOs among the usual suspects.

Quote:
“As longtime law enforcement professionals, we have seen the horrific results of dangerous weapons falling into the wrong hands,” said the group. “The deregulation of firearm silencers through the SHARE Act or the Hearing Protection Act would only make these results more common and often more fatal.”
What a fucking dipshit blanket statement. Probably had that ubiquitous statement on a shelf to trot out for ANY event.

Quote:
In addition to the letter, Giffords’ group posted a compilation of clips drawn from interviews with Republican lawmakers in the aftermath of June’s Congressional baseball shooting that left House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and five others injured. Entitled “I Heard the Shots” the one-minute video makes the case that, had the shooter’s SKS rifle been suppressed, the carnage could have been higher.
Of course these retards think it's a Hollywood silencer. Who have absolutely no intention of going to a range (as they were invited to) to show the actual noise reduction. Because facts don't mean shit. It's all virtue signaling to keep the dollars flowing in from other idiots and traitors in USA gen pop.

I'm really not trying to get my hopes up. But I do pray to God that this passes. This would be the best thing to happen in a LONG friggin time. Something with ACTUAL tangible results.

Here is an opinion piece by a non-NRA proponent who suggests based on her analysis that perhaps "gun control" isn't the answer

count on that information being buried or discredited by everyone on the left side of the issue

it isn't about gun control to the leftists - it was never about gun control

Right there with you. A 9 month processing delay is a de facto law.

It's about control of the populace; hard to do if the populace is armed...

I am 100% in agreement with a complete ban on all semi automatic rifles, all full auto, and all magazines limited to 8 rounds. No problem with me.

As long as it also applies to all law enforcement agencies ( local, state, and federal) and to all National Guard units.
