For all incoming classes for the US Army Critical Care Flight Paramedic course, they have them watch the documentary on the first day. Was pretty cool in that one case that one of the medics in my class was featured in said film. Was well put together and set the tone for the shoes we were expected to fill.

I flew Medevac for a couple years in the 72. two of my guys are in this. one was a great kid and a good medic. the other cared, tried hard, but wasn't quite the leader I would have liked him to be.

another of my medics got hit on a hoist on his first tour. after leaving us, a month or so in country on another tour he took a round in the knee on a hoist.

the medics and crews (chiefs) do work really hard to accomplish their missions.
Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical and radical minority, rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
