Good morning all,
New(ish) to SOCNET, had registered a while back and had done mostly browsing and looking into possibly contracting but was locked into a reserve contract with the USMC-R and could not (2013-2020 all reserve as an 0352). Now that i'm out, I have came back to learn about possible opportunities. Have worked at a Sheriffs Office as a Deputy/SWAT Operator since 2017 and have done some courses with the agency but funding and staff is always an issue. Looking forward to contributing to the community in any way I can and become more knowledgeable.

I would like to think. PT unfortunately so pickings are slim. Try to get the most out of it but at heart will always be a PT team.

Hello to everyone here on SOCNET!! Quick 5 second resume, then the "why I'm here."

Served 4 years as an 11B / 11C with the 4/25th IBCT (ABN). Spent one year deployed to Afghanistan.

Got out and after some college, went onto becoming an Exec Pro Agent for a couple of years, then went into the PMC world for the past two years which is where I'm currently at.

Probably won't post often, and mainly plan on keeping my head down to browse the Jobs forums, to see if anything interesting comes up. Cheers boys!! (And girls!!)

Quick intro.

Honored to have a family full of vets from every branch, unlucky in the fact that I have no contact with any of them.

I've always wanted to serve, but life hasnt made that possible until now. Currently working my ass off to trim easy living off of my body so I can possibly join up. (30lbs lost so far, 60 to go) At 30 I've missed my chance at the two things I was really hoping to do, (Marines or Pararescue) but at this point I'll be happy just to get into the military at all before its too late.

Working towards the Navy, Airforce as a backup, and National Guard as a last resort. Just here to read up on information from the people who really know it, instead of getting Ad infested dribbles from elsewhere on the web.

With respect. ST.

I registered on this forum some years ago and I am not sure that I made an introduction here as required, Apologies for that. I am a Police Detective in Rep. of Ireland. Private pilot (H), aircraft researcher with a particular interest in the Hughes/MD500/Little Bird and the history of the 160th SOAR.
