I just tell people that they are talking to themselves if they don't face me. Unfortunately this has become the truth as my hearing has gotten bad enough that I can't understand speech if I can't see a persons lips.

Maybe they've spent time with Pacific Islanders? And are trying to be culturally sensitive.

Reading articles like this one. If you don't want the animal, give it away or put it up for adoption. Some people just need to be hit in the head with a hammer.

There is not a punishment legal in the states for what should happen to that person.

I have no problem with a quick shot behind the ear for anybody that abuses women, kids or animals.

It has probably been mentioned before but this is the second day in a row going on base. Some asshole holding their phone in one hand while handing the gate guard their ID with their other hand. This is after they kept stopping and waiting 4 or 5 car lengths just to be an asshole. This was after they kept speeding up where cars could not pass and slowing down to 45 when they fell into the right lane.

It’s extra special because I’m camped out in the bug out trailer in BFE northern California. He had a cold night in the back of the pickup last night before I could wash him in the creek this morning. I suppose I could salvage some of the 19 million feet of irrigation pipe running the hillside and pipe some water to trailer.

The look on his face when he came running back was pretty comical. A mix of man that was a bad idea and I showed him.

After two "interactions" with my dogs, I was determined that there would not be a third. I used to plink the little black & white striped bastards from my porch. We had a paved horseshoe driveway that had a drainage creek conduit that ran underneath. I'd wait until sundown, and they would come out in pairs. *PLINK* No more sprayed dogs.

Same here. Bruno got skunked in 2014 and learned his lesson.

Our dog is always my sons' dog or my wife's dog...until he got skunked, then it's "dad's dog"...

I think a March blizzard is in order.

That is all.

Same here, wet, muddy. Get to snowing or bring on spring. I don't like the in-between.

The vegetation and trees here don't know whether to die or bloom. This has been a pathetic excuse for a winter. The only thing here remotely associated with winter is the shorter days.

I don’t know, I spent last winter wading around in waste deep snow under a yarder. It’s been over 60 and sunny most of the time down here.
