Ryan Lozier

Last night, watching the American Flag draped across you, dancing in the wind as our Chinook cut through the cool crisp night across southern Afghanistan on our final flight together... a tear rolled down my face as I thought of your Facebook profile and its quote, "Lifes goal should not be to show up at your final resting spot in a well rested, well preserved body ready to pass on.... But rather sliding in side ways tired, beaten down, yelling holy shit what a ride...late for your own passing!"

You achieved your goal, Brother.

One of us will be next to you all the way home.

RIP. You will never be forgotten.

DJ
- I will miss you!! You were my Ranger Buddy, and one of my closest friends. I will see you on the other side my friend!! You will be with me every day my friend.

I served with DJ on numerous ocasions, 1/75 and then at RTB, and we were tight.... He leaves behind a daughter, wife and way too many Ranger buddies. I last spoke to DJ on 18 March, when he was about 10 days out from returning, about leaving Global and he was heading back into the Army, straight into SF. I am trully in a numb state.......I lost my Ranger buddy!!!

You are gone but will never be forgotten......RIP-RLTW!!!

RIP Fellow C.Co Ranger.

I was surfing the blogosphere the other night and I don't remember how I linked to this, but I ended up posting it on my facebook. Someone hit me up and said the timing might be right for this to be Ranger Lozier
