Is the 304 a factory motor? Not familiar with it.

Yep, 150 hp, unless you added a 2 inch spacer under a 4 barrel carb and a set of cheap Hooker Headers.

OK. I never owned one but my sister dated this loser who had one. I've had a 305 Chevy. International has a motor about that size too in some old Scouts, which are cool as hell.

IH made a 304 too but it's completely different than the AMC motor. My first rig was a 78 Scout II with a 304.
