For the "Cutler" minimum of $10 million, guaranteed. Belichick probably would have offered him 5. $500,000 that is, pro rated with no guarantee.

So now, instead of Jay Cutler explaining to Fox viewers exactly why some QB on the field just threw an interception, he'll be explaining the same thing to Adam Gase when he walks off the field in Miami after turning it over.

This guy has incredible luck. In terms of scoring sweet contracts, I mean.

Cutler did ok with Gase in Den. They have history so any new concepts are easier to install - Cutler played games in this offense and did .. best ever. Miami has some decent players on offense. Is Cutler in shape today?

Would you have preferred Kapernick?

Some of the talking heads were speculating that if not for Kap's wearing some Castro shirt, he might have been the their choice.

Packers are going to be a weapon this season, if everyone stays healthy they will go far.

Well, Peppers went home, and he was no joke with the pass rush.

If Carolina stays healthy, they will be good. They have the potential to be very good.

Concur, but that's a tall order, and depth is lacking in a lot of places. It wouldn't take much of an injury bug with the current squad to make the difference between 6-10 or 10-6.

Agreed. The reason I am cautiously optimistic is because Kuechly was out 6 games, Cam was injured and battered, the O-line was a revolving door of injuries, and yet they still only lost 6 games by 3 points or less. I think if they stay healthy, they may not be 15-1, but definitely good enough for playoffs.

Also hard agree re: depth issues. They are solid at LB and a few other places, but in other spots, they are an injury away from starting rookies (again).

The Bears season will be a success if they can stay within 10 points of them throughout both their games, and lose by no more than a touchdown.

I'm sure I'll probably spend as much time following the Dolphins as I will the Bears, just out of curiosity. I'm sure the same goes for most Bears fans.

Hell, he did pretty good with him in Chicago. It's too bad Gase didn't take over the Bears instead of Fox, things might have been different. I consider Gase a much better coach than John Fox.

I can't take this very much longer
I'm stranded in the sleet and rain
Don't think I'm ever gonna make it home again.

51 was the Super Bowl the Pats just won. When they win the next one, it will be Super Bowl 52.

I know, it gets all jumbled when they win so much. Like wondering where to find room to hang all the banners, it's a good problem to have.
