I went to the rifle range (a range way out in the country) for our weekly long-range day and met a guy with a six-figure custom Ford F350 rig along the lines of the one shown. The back seat area was an arsenal. He had bought all this gear as his wife was very wealthy. He had a Barrett 50 with a suppressor that he did not know how to sight in or use his optics. I had a great time shooting his rifle and sighting it in... On one hand, his whole outfit was kind of perplexing on the other it was a blast shooting his guns and consuming his free ammo. Modern times.

I'd go for this and call it a day. Far less maintenance and better fuel economy with the right tow vehicle.

They rent out really well and they are bomber. The trailing arm suspension is very heavy duty and it wont rattle apart on the trail. I'm not convinced the same can be said for the cabinetry on the EarthRoamer. I've toured the Columbus distribution center and met with the engineer that rebuilds them for the US. These things are really well built.
