BlueForce, Inc. is seeking candidates for a SERE Specialist Training -Orientation (SST-OC) Instructor to support the USAF SERE School by providing Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) training and instruction at Lackland AFB, Joint Base San Antonio / Lackland (JBSA-L), in San Antonio, TX.

The mission of the United States Air Force (USAF) SERE School is to ensure each student graduates with the confidence and ability to employ the SERE tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP’s) necessary to return with honor regardless of the circumstances of isolation. Students are aircrew members and other high-risk-of-capture personnel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide Training Manager/Administrative Support
• Generate multimedia training aids and presentations for instructors
• Track, maintain and update training logs, instructor evaluations, and student handouts, note-taking guides, course critiques, and phase critiques
• Perform pre-trip coordination and planning, post-trip debriefs and after-action reports
• Perform pre-class coordination and planning, post-class debriefs and after-action reports
• Performs tasks in logistics, plans, programs and administration in support of course instruction requirements
• Accompany personnel to the field training locations, Resistance Training, and Evasion Library's (ELs)
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have an active US Issued security clearance of Secret
• Must be a graduate of USAF Course S-V81-A, SERE Specialist Training
• Must have 10 years of experience
• Must be able to complete a 4-mile ruck, on flat ground, with 25-30 lbs. in under 1 hour bi-annually
• Must be qualified to instruct in the courses they are responsible for supporting
• Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Possess high personal standards, technical knowledge & professional competence in delivering training material
• Possess a familiarity with the organization and hierarchy of the U.S. Air Force, military rank/grade structure; knowledge of Air Force and military terminology
• Possess a knowledge of basic and advanced training techniques, and of computer technology applications as they apply to instructional delivery
• Knowledge of DoD procedures for the handling of classified material, DoD SERE and Personnel Recovery publications supporting Code of Conduct training, and the capability to access those publications
