Has anyone in this thread talked about, or has, built a conex bunker?

If you make multiple would it be possible to create a green room in one for sustained food supply?

I am not so much worried about federal retribution as I am my wife's health. I would hate to have to watch my wife's cognizance rapidly decline because I was afraid my government would take action against me for such things.

I will look more into the suggestions made by Terry. I do believe she does the 90 day prescription thing. We ran into quite a snag when we switched insurance last year. Thanks for the advice fellas.

My wife has Epilepsy, and her meds (without insurance) run for approximately 7K/month. For stockpiling for a SHTF situation, does anyone have a reliable on-line source to get prescription meds? Or maybe knows some other way of obtaining vital medication for these scenarios. Any advice is appreciated.
My daughter has it also.the only thing I would say it to try and refill a couple days early every month. I have built up some but nowhere near what I would like.

My one niece has had seizures since she was a kid. She was asked to consider dropping out of college a few years back (one semester left)because her meds and lack of sleep were causing her to fall asleep in class. I believe that she is back in school now finishing her teaching degree as that "counselor" has been reassigned. I hope you guys can find a decent source for meds for your loved ones.

Other than the monthly set aside from filling early or the 90 day supply, your access is either via a foreign source, that may or may not get intercepted by customs or veterinarian sources.

I take prednisone for gout and have bought it in Mexico before over the counter. It is also available from French manufacturers in Africa.

I have also taken methyl carbinol (sp) which is a muscle relaxer that was made for humans but prescribed for horses. Its actually cheaper to make these meds and filter them through one quality process ( i.e. for humans) and sell the surplus or just make more and sell them on the veterinarian market.

Lots of homework on foreign pharma companies and expiration, but desperate times........

Not based on too terribly much but some anecdotal statements here and there, but I'm pretty strong on the opinion that meds are mostly good for a LONG time if they're kept very dry, cool, and in the dark.

I've taken full courses of various meds, especially antibiotics, and sealed them into small 7 mil mylar packs, each pack is one full course of meds for whatever ails. ya. I'm opening them now after a dozen years and not seeing any loss in efficacy..

Aren't several antibiotics used on fish the same as for humans?

I agree with the above here. I took a migraine injection a few weeks back that was from my foot locker of stashed meds. It was almost ten years old! Worked like a charm!

Some fish AB have even more stringent standards due to their sensitivity.

If you’re checking the chainsaw, don’t forget to check the 2 cycle oil supply.

I have worked with more than one faller who used, used motor oil. And this was on probably a $1600-1800 saw.

I've got the old crosscut for when times get real lean.

My Stihl only cuts...

I have bar and unused motor oil. I doubt there’s a difference between the two.
