Good luck to Pegasus. There are companies that pay twice that amount for the same work.

This should probably be in the OCONUS work section, since all their OPs are TDY OCONUS. The pay listed is probably just a fraction of what you end up with when all is said and done.

Expect to go through a full Poly security clearance.

Understood. However comma-pause-for-effect the base salary is low-balled even accounting for the overseas 'premiums'. The premium effect will only bring the salary up ~160K per annum; based on the $48K baseline. That's before taxes and insurance (health, dental, eye, long-disability, etc.). That figure is good if you do 12/7/52; less for less hours worked.

A full Poly certification will also add to the bottom line by about $5-10K per year.

My point is an applicant could be "leaving money on the table".

I agree that the pay is definately low. Even their pilots do not really make enough money in my book. Not as much as other companies are paying.

The biggest problem with working for them is that you can't live where ever you want when you are "OFF". You have to live near Jax, or at least a few hours away. That might be fine for some, and a no-go for others.

They have also had some growing pains. Too much too fast! IMO.

Working in this field for the past year I can say I have seen people picked up with only a secret. You can train anyone to use the software, but years of ground experience cannot be taught.

Peg will not settle for a Secret clearance. Their process is long. Nuff said.
