Looks like me an The Fat guy have the same social life. :D
Started about the same time ended about the same time.

Great book, it kept me wanting to turn the page to see what would happen next. Also gave me a great insight into the differences between Army EOD and Navy EOD.

looking forward to the next installment of the series.

I'm glad that you both enjoyed it. Please write a review on amazon and amazon.uk to help spread the word.

There is a second in the series in development. It's working title is Pressure Release. You will see Jazz, Elena, Grover Denke, and Tracy again.

Before PR comes out, you will see The Recipient's Son published by the Naval Institute Press in September 2012. It is a novel about the son of a MOH recipient who attends the Naval Academy. Also still in the works is a non-fiction account of EOD Techs in WOT entitled, Improvised: EOD Techs in the WOT.

If you like, follow my fb page listed under my name with cover of Proximity as the profile pic and on twitter @eodauthor.
