I'm hesitant with anything new made by Remington. I know a guy selling a .270 in the 700 but I wanna check the manufacturer's date made.

About anything post Newtown massacre is crap.

Just referring to the lawsuit against Remington. Manufacturers liability. Bankrupcy. They went downhill since I've heard. Parts coming from other than in house stuff. Their newer efforts with the model 783. I find it loose and rickety.

A great company at one time. I'm always on the look for old model Remingtons and pre 64 Winchesters.
