Tonight I'm making Fajitas. Home grown beef. Store bought red peppers and onions. I was out of tortillas and went to buy some, mostly hoarded. Found an off brand pack of 60 flour tortillas sitting there in great quantities and they are awesome!

Peanut butter fronana, because my favorite ice cream place is closed.

All you need are frozen bananas, tons of PB, and a blender. You can top it off with bits and pieces of peanuts or shaved coconut.

Never tried grilled pb&j. I always toast them. Will definitely try grilled!

When I toast frozen waffles, I always add peanut butter! Gotta get the protein!

Quick Chili and 15 Bean Soup

Chili: NOTE: Do this in your BIG skillet - at least 10 inches. Saute one onion all chopped up. Lower heat and add 1 pound of ground meat. Brown. When it's OK, push the onions and meat to one side, and elevate that side of the pan so the liquid all drains to the bottom. Let it sit for three or four minutes to drain it all out. Remove and discard the liquid. Put it back on low heat and some Montreal Steak seasoning salt, and then add one 15 oz can of drained black beans, one 15 oz can of drained dark red kidney or pinto beans, and then two 15 oz cans of drained diced tomatoes. I like the kind that have green chilies already in there. If you don't use the tomato / chilies mix, then add some chili powder to taste. Mix it all up, put four slices of white American cheese on top, cover, and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. Mix it all up again after the cheese is completely melted, and enjoy with Saltines.

15 Bean Soup: In your crock pot at 7 PM add 1 bag of 15 bean soup mix (dried bean section of the supermarket, for you knuckle draggers) and at least a pound of your favorite meat. I've been using a smoked turkey thigh, cut up and no bones in. I also use smoked turkey necks. Venison works nicely, too. Add two quarts of low salt chicken broth. Let it cook covered and on HIGH overnight. In the morning, add the produce section: mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, celery, corn, until the pot is full. You might have to add some water or more chicken broth to fill up the pot. Let it cook covered and on HIGH until afternoon. Put it on low and enjoy your dinner for the next couple of days. Note that I don't add any seasoning or salt at all... it really doesn't need anything.

Both are easy as can be, feed you for a couple of days, and are killer good.

A combination of draft beer, Kimchi and pickled eggs take the # 1 spot.
