Imagery Science Services (ISS) – Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) EXPERT

Job Type: Full Time

Locations: MCIA Quantico VA.

Position Description: The ISS shall provide imagery science GEOINT analysis and advanced phenomenologies. Knowledge of imaging systems, phenomenology, methodologies and processing techniques shall be employed on behalf of GEO INT analysts and community customers while providing operational support. Individual image scientists shall be a specialist in one of five distinct areas depending on mission requirements.


20 + years’ experience with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)

Ability to support the development of collection strategies for standing, ad hoc and emerging capabilities for littoral analysis

Expertise in image science to include systems architecture and software interoperability


NGA Certified instructor

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Marine Corps Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) pertaining to littoral operating environment, and Marine Corps mission sets.

This is a non-deployable billet but CONUS/OCONUS travel will be required.

Standard 40 hrs. work week is projected.

TS/SCI clearance is required
