MVM, inc - Lost Contract

Gentlemen, I know that the MVM, inc thread was closed, and this may not be the correct place for this thread, but I just got word from my friend that MVM, inc had lost their largest contract. I just thought this was ironic especially after reading through the last MVM, inc thread.

Has anyone else heard this? I was wondering what might happen to the packet I had submitted with them? Does the new company get all of our information or do I have to track them down and reapply? Just when I thought I was in the door.

Thanks in advance.

Groundhog Day, all over again! I dealt with this back in Dec 05. Got in country, they lost their contract and I went to Global. Good luck!

Yes this is true and you'll probably have to resubmit your packet. The best thing would be to contact the new company and ask them.

I have been monitoring this contract for a while as I used to work on it. I am surprised it took this long for MVM to lose it. I know Steve M from my Army days and if he manages a company like he managed things in the Army it all makes sense. FYI- it appears so. Regardless I wish the new company the best. Has the new companies name been released yet?

So my same buddy that mentioned MVM lost the contract just called me and said the rumor at MVM is that the head guy of their overseas contract division was packing his office up. He said it appears he is getting canned on Monday. I believe its that Steve guy.

Not surprising. That division spiraled downhill when he came on board in 2008. That's when they lost the other mobile contract. Like I said before I am surprised they held on to the other mobile contract for this long.

MVM has to be hurting if they only have the Static Program.

They were spiraling downhill before he got there...he just helped speed up the process.

Steve Marquez, Vice President Global Support Services, served five years in U.S. Army Special Forces with one tour in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan before joining MVM. Mr. Marquez brings first-hand, real world experiences and understanding of operational environments, mission requirements and customer needs to MVMs international operations.
