Merry Christmas SOCNET

I hope everyone has a most joyous Christmas & Holiday. It has been a good year for me personally.

Santa has me stumped this year. Its been awhile since I've been totally stumped by my spouse unit. I have no idea what she got me. Nor does she of what I got.

I have the pleasure of watching my Grandson Christmas morning make a mess of wrapping paper and cardboard. Combined with a ham, turkey & all the fixings. Peach cobbler, apple pie and of course some after dinner entertainment provided by my friends on Beauty Mountain.

I hope everyone has a great holiday. Please be safe in your travels. Enjoy time with with family & friends.

If you drink don't drive. If you swim...swim with a buddy.

Merry Christmas!

I looked in my stocking and there it was, a note that said "nope".

May your wishes come true.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

Last night I took the family to Busch Gardens for the Christmas festivities. I was impressed with the parks willingness to embrace traditional Christmas (Christian themes), which was definitely not politically correct. I'm talking an entire 10-song show full of "Immanuel" and "Mary Did You Know," with not a single secular Santa reference. From my perspective, the audience really appreciated this departure from today's PC environment and it showed with sold out attendance.

Merry Christmas !
Santa brought me a new Knee for Christmas. I had complications with the medication. So the Dr suggested I try taking ibuprofen which ruptured 2 ulcers that i didn't know i had.I started vomiting blood and went into a seizure.
By the time the ambulance got me to the hospital I had lost another 3 pints of blood.
I had lost 2 pints from the knee surgery and 3 from the bleeding ulcers. My Dr said I was dying and started giving me blood transfusions, which brought me back to life.
Spent some 4 days in the hospital and then home.
Since then I have been going through Knee Therapy, and taking large amounts of pills to help me recover from the knee surgery, ulcers and slowly replace the 5 pints of blood I lost.
So for this Christmas I have a new knee, and my life back. Dr said it will be a long recovery maybe 3 months back to normal.
I feel that God has opened another door for me, as I have my life back this Christmas!.

Merry Christmas everyone.

I'm working today and my wife doesn't know I managed to get the second half of the shift off. She'll be surprised when I walk in the door with her present. I think she'll love it.
