Period of Performance: 12 month base plus 4-1 year options. Projected Start Date: Approx 1 Jan

Job Duties: Business Operations Specialist shall:

Provide analysis, forecasts, reconciliation and reporting financial support of all MFP11 and MFP2 including Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO), Confidential Military Purpose (CMP), and Section 943 funding for SOCAFRICA Preparation of the Environment (PE) and Sensitive Activities (SA). Provide support SOCAFRICAís annual input into the Combatant Commanderís Initiative Fund (CCIF) request.
Provide support for the planning, programming, and budgeting of USSOCOMís distinct support funds and the execution of allocated funds including balance sheets, ledgers, vouchers and receipts to meet USSOCOM and Joint Staff (JS) Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA) requirements in support of Preparation of the Environment (PE) and Sensitive Activities (SA).
Provide time-sensitive operational support to SOCAFRICA desk officers, and deployed Preparation of the Environment (PE) elements and teams by requesting, monitoring, tracking, capturing and maintaining metrics of past, current and future PE support activities.
Provide data and analysis to support SOCAFRICAís Global Special Operation Synchronization (GSOS) efforts. Provide recommendations and analysis regarding SOCAFRICAís efforts related to USSOCOMís Global Special Operations Synchronization and the Strategic Planning Process (GSOS/SPP) and their implications to the TSOC component operations. Provide recommendations and CONOPs in support of SOCAFRICA Preparation of the Environment related to the Joint Staff Global Force Management Allocation Plan (GFMAP) resourcing requirements.
Provide appropriately formatted, organized, and shared historical records for Joint Staff (JS) Preparation of the Environment (PE) CONOPs including the preparation and staffing from Joint Operation Group-Africa (JOG-A) to SOCAFRICA thru USAFRICOM and the Joint Staff.
Provide data and recommendations to the USSOCOM and Joint Staff quarterly classified reporting process and the quarterly expenditure of funds in support of SOCAFRICA Preparation of the Environment (PE) and Sensitive Activities (SA).
Plans, synchronizes, and coordinates Preparation of the Environment (PE) and specialized Personnel Recovery (PR) activities; provide support to the lead planner for SA theater counter Violent Extremist Organizations (VEO) operations within the JOG-A.
Education Requirements: One or the other

Bachelorís Degree in any business related field with 2 years of experience supporting preparation of the environment;

or 7 years of experience supporting preparation of the environment

Position Requirements:

Advanced Special Operations Training (ASOT) Level 3 certified and current ASOT-Manager experience at the TSOC-level

1 year of experience with International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS) support activities and cost share reporting

1 year of experience managing Preparation of the Environment (PE) and Sensitive Activities (SA) and USSOCOM distinct funds

1 year of experience in Intelligence and Operational support to controlled operations

1 year of experience working with USSOCOMís Global Special Operations Synchronization and the Strategic Planning Process (GSOS/SPP)

1 year of experience executing USSOCOM tasks related to USSOCOM Directives 37-13, 381-5, and 525-5

1 year of experience working with Emergency and Extraordinary Expenses Funds (EEE) and Contingency Military Purpose Funding (CMPF)

1 year understanding of USSOCOM Directives 37-15 procedure for requesting and approving EEE authority

Current DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance and ACCM read-on eligible
