A fascinating career and individual
Thank you for your service.

In the book Phantom Warriors: Book I: LRRPs, LRPs, and Rangers in Vietnam By Gary Linderer there is a chapter detailing a mission he led during 1967.

Also in the book Valor in Vietnam: Chronicles of Honor, Courage, and Sacrifice: 1963-1977, there are passages that also detail the missions he conducted along with the type of soldier/tactician he is.

A small glimpse of the life led and many missions he carried out during his numerous tours in Vietnam

God Speed.

A lot of that time running around like a Montagnard. Cast iron balls. Another Ranger member sent me this. I was in awe.

I spoke to CSM Tadina's daughter Catherine a few minutes ago and she e-mailed me the following information and link:
"A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Rogers & Breece Funeral Home on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11 AM. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 – 10:45 PM."

This is in Fayetteville for those in the AO.

A very nice and well fitting obituary..

If a person ever wanted to know what type of man CSM Tadina was these few lines says it all..

"While serving as a team leader for five years, he never had one of his team killed. This was accomplished at the risk of his own life during the many times he was cited for valor (2 Silver Stars), 10 Bronze Stars (7 with V Device), 4 Army Commendation Medals (2 with V Device) and three Purple Hearts."

RIP
