Hey all,

Its LRS Guy, I used to be on here allot form 2004-2013 or so. But life got in the way and I was spending way to much time on the internet. I've continued to do some overseas work and stayed in the Texas Army National Guard. I'm currently the PSG for the Mortar Platoon of the 1st Bn (Abn) 143rd In. We are the 3rd Infantry Bn in the 173rd Abn Bde. just happen to be in the Guard.

I got back on Socnet for professional reasons, I'm not a 11C, but a 11B who is really loud and got picked to take the Mortars because they needed a experienced, loud mouth E-7 in that Platoon. I'd like to communicate with my 11C brethren to bounce some questions off of. Ideally they are a 11C in 82, 173, 4-25th or 75th Mortar NCO's or have been recently.

This will likely be the last time I will be a PSG, so I want to go out strong and leave this Platoon better than I found it.

Regards

LRS Guy

Thank‘s for permission.

My name ist Manny. I am a former MSG (OR-8) of the German Armed Forces (GAF) und my profession was comparable with the US MOS Code 97E with airborne abilities. During my duty it was every time a pleasure to work with US soldiers.
Now I‘m proceeding the duty for my country in the German Department of the Interior.
I‘ve a huge respect to all of you and I’m here to learn from others how I did before.
Contacts are welcome.

Take care and stay safe

Willkommen in unserem Haus. I spent a fair amount of time working with 2/251 at Calw back in the early to mid-1980s. The battalion commander was Oberstleutnant Digutsch, a very tall and bespectacled hard but competent man, who would have fit in nicely at Crete in May 1941 or Monte Cassino in March 1944. Also, you guys had some of the finest NCOs I've ever had the pleasure to work with.

Finally, I have to lodge a complaint because the 3-years I was stationed at Schwabisch Hall (Dolan Baracks), basically from 19-22 years old (my formative drinking years), I became accustomed to drinking awesome German beer. This effectively eliminated any hope that I could be satisfied living here in the States while drinking our swill that we call beer.

Greetings,

US Army, I’m prior enlisted infantry, after doing that for a while I decided it would be better on my body if I stopped walking everywhere so I put in a WOFT packet. After getting some experience flying around the world, I submitted a packet for 160th. My hobbies are spending time with my family and drinking beer on my patio.
